The "Direct to Wuzhen" Global Internet Competition, a key component of the World Internet Conference, aims to explore new technologies, models, and formats for internet development and establish a key platform for collaboration among internet projects, technology, talent, and capital. The 2024 competition, themed "Discovering New Forces of the Future, Building a New Digital Ecosystem," featured five tracks: Intelligent Connected Vehicles, Digital Healthcare, Industrial Internet, Intelligent Internet of Things, and Digital Culture. It also debuted a special AI+ Innovation Application competition, attracting 1,048 entries from 27 countries worldwide. Vopak's healthcare companion robot system, recognized for its technological innovation, innovative applications, and market potential in the elderly care sector, won the Outstanding Project Award.
