The 14th China Finance Summit and 2025 Innovation Entrepreneurs Summit was held in Shanghai from July 16 to 17 under the theme “Navigating Change, Forging Resilience”. Widely recognized as one of China’s most influential forums on economic development, the event brought together more than 1,200 leaders from government, business, academia, and the innovation sector from China and abroad. Among the attendees were Zhou Hanmin, a member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC); Lian Ping, chief economist at the Guangkai Chief Industry Research Institute; Lu Ming, a member of the CPPCC National Committee; and Shen Guobing, deputy director of the Institute of World Economy. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on hot topics such as “How New Quality Productivity Reshapes the Industrial Future” and “New Quality Productivity and Sustainable Development”, sharing China’s opportunities and projecting confidence in the nation’s economy.
At the conference, Ye Ting, Assistant to the Chairman of Fubao, delivered a keynote speech titled “When Population Aging Meets the AI Revolution: Fubao’s Digital Innovation Practices.” She noted that the convergence of artificial intelligence and population aging presents both challenges and opportunities. Guided by its mission of “Creating Better Lives Through Artificial Intelligence,” Fubao is leveraging technology to improve the well-being of older adults and accelerate the development of smart healthcare and elderly-care services. Ye said the company is turning its vision of an AI-powered smart future into practical solutions that benefit millions of families. She emphasized that addressing the needs of an aging society requires collective efforts across industries and called on partners to work together in building a more connected and sustainable smart elderly-care ecosystem.
In an exclusive interview at the summit, Ye further explained Fubao’s approach: “The key is making advanced technology truly accessible and practical.” In response to the challenges posed by deepening population aging, the company has pioneered an integrated “healthcare-and-elderly-care services plus robotics” model that transforms sophisticated technologies into solutions that older adults can easily use, trust, and afford. Through robotics, Fubao aims to improve service efficiency and reduce operational costs. The company is also working closely with industry‑chain partners to deepen technology integration and has opened its API platform to encourage developers to create new application scenarios.
At the summit, Fubao’s self-developed Medical Service Robot received the 2025 Outstanding AI Innovation Application Award. Equipped with advanced technologies including 5G and artificial intelligence, the robot provides a range of services, including traditional Chinese and Western medicine-based health assessments, constitution analysis, pre-consultation medical record generation, AI-assisted medical consultations, internet hospital services, and remote consultations. It delivers high-quality care to grassroots patients, optimizes primary-level medical services, mitigates the uneven distribution of medical resources, and contributes to the goal of common prosperity. Earlier, this robot was chosen for the 2024 list of typical robot application scenarios in Zhejiang Province and was officially designated as a First-of-Its-Kind Equipment in Hangzhou, reflecting industry recognition of its technological innovation and social impact.
Looking ahead, Fubao will continue to advance the application of AI and robotics in healthcare and elderly care. Driven by innovation, the company aims to further strengthen its position as a trusted technology brand while delivering practical, human-centered solutions that improve people’s quality of life.
