On July 25, the 13th China Venture Capital Conference—the flagship annual event for the country’s VC community—was held in Shenzhen’s Guangming Science City, alongside the National Alliance of Venture Capital Associations’ field tour to the city. Under the theme “New Trends Unfolding, Quality Wins the Future,” the conference gathered leaders from VC associations in over 20 economically developed provinces and cities, more than 300 active domestic VC firms, and professionals from listed companies, corporate venture arms, investment banks, and start-ups. Participants exchanged views on emerging industry dynamics and explored pathways to propel the venture capital sector forward.
During the conference, several major initiatives were launched. The Think Tank Center of the National Alliance of Venture Capital Associations was officially established to bring together expertise from across the venture capital ecosystem and provide professional and diversified support for industry development. Meanwhile, the Guangming District Government and Securities Times signed a strategic cooperation agreement to strengthen collaboration in the venture capital sector and promote deeper integration between regional economic development and financial innovation.
To address key issues shaping today’s venture capital landscape, the conference hosted two roundtable discussions. Artificial intelligence has emerged as a coveted track attracting extensive investment from venture capital firms. Meanwhile, expectations for IPO exits have risen, while diversified exit channels including mergers and acquisitions flourish. Against this backdrop, venture capital firms are actively optimizing the entire investment cycle, from fundraising and investment to portfolio management and exits. Drawing on their practical experience, leading investors shared insights and engaged in in-depth discussions on these industry trends.
At the award ceremony, Fubao received the 2025 “High-Growth Enterprise of the Year” Award in recognition of its technological innovation and strong business growth. Jia Guoqiang, Chairman of Fubao, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
